from www.nypost.com – Just before a former cop was sentenced to 10 years in prison on kiddie porn charges today, one of the girls shown in the videos he downloaded said she’s the one who’s really being punished.

“Everyday somewhere, someone is taking pleasure in watching me being raped,” the woman, who was raped on camera by her father at age 10, said in a victim impact statement read aloud in Queens Supreme Court.

“I’ve been passed around like candy at a party,” prosecutors from the Queens DA’s office read from the now 19-year-old woman’s statement at the sentencing of Matthew Fanning [pictured]. “This man has all my images and it hurts me each time.”

Fanning, a retired NYPD officer from the 100th Precinct, pleaded guilty last month to promoting the sexual performance of a child under the age of 16.

The woman, who was not in court, said in her statement that she’s already suffered a 10-year sentence, a punishment that shows no signs of ending.

“I have panic attacks, cold sweats and I can’t be around people for more than 40 minutes,” she said. “I had to quit college because I cannot participate in all the activities and classes.”

While countless perverts like Fanning have seen her being raped, she doesn’t even know what they look like, she said.

“I could have walked past him any day and not ever known if he was the one who watched me being raped as a little girl,” she said.

She has little expectation that she will ever be freed of that sentence, she said.

“I hope to live a normal life soon,” she said. “I have nightmares, I get chills. There were even some pervs out there who tried to contact me on MySpace.”

Authorities were tipped off about the creepy cop’s activities when he was attempting to buy sex from a preteen on the internet.

After a month-long investigation in February 2008, authorities searched his South Ozone Park home and seized his computer that was hoarding several video files downloaded from the recently defunct file sharing service, Limewire.

“I swear to God nothing like this will happen again,” Fanning said before he was sentenced by Queens Supreme Court Justice Fernando Camacho.

The victim’s father who created the video was prosecuted and is currently serving 50 years in prison, according to prosecutors from the Queens DA’s office.

Upon completion of Fanning’s sentence he must register as a sex offender.

Former officer Matthew Fanning, his hands cuffed behind his back, listened while a prosecutor read the now 19-year-old girl’s statement in Queens Supreme Court.

“Every day people are sharing videos of me being raped in the most sadistic way,” wrote the woman.

“I wonder if the people I know have seen this image. I wonder if the men I pass in the grocery store have seen it. They are trading my trauma like treats at a party.”

Her father has been sent away to prison for raping and recording the attacks that were distributed online.

“Every time they’re downloaded I’m exploited again,” wrote the 19-year-old, who recently dropped out of college because of the continued stress.

Fanning, 48, pleaded guilty last month to two counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child.

Prosecutors say he kept videos of children as young as 3 years old having sex with adults on a computer in his South Ozone Park home.

He apologized to the young girls in the video.

“I pray for them and their families every day,” he told Justice Fernando Camacho.

“The phrase Lord knows I’m sorry comes to mind,” Fanning added.

“I swear to God nothing like this will ever happen again. I ask for God’s forgiveness today.”

Fanning, who retired from the NYPD on a 75% disability pension, will receive treatment as a sex offender while he’s locked up, said Assistant District Attorney Kateri Gasper.
