Cleveland, OH- Jayda Diamonde has quite a fan base as an Adult performer and is known as the “Queen of Extreme”, but pretty soon she will be known for her mainstream movie work.
She just wrapped production on the Indie film “Boot Tracks”, a dark psychological thriller about a recently released convict seeking vengeance.
The movie is based on the book with the same title. Jayda will be appearing with Hollywood heavyweights Stephen Dorff, Michelle Monaghan and Willem Dafoe. Being in Cleveland during filming proved to be a stroke of luck for Jayda, because the co-producer of the film was looking for an actress to play an Adult film star. Jayda acceped that role, along with several other primary and elusive characters in the film.
“I want to be like Sasha Grey and do more mainstream roles in the future,” says Jayda Diamonde.
“Raven Alexis appeared on Adult Swim’s ‘Children’s Hospital’ and Tera Patrick was on ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force’, and that’s just a few of the Adult starlets who have gone Hollywood recently. The door is wide open for Adult stars to transition to mainstream—I want to be the one they’re talking about for some time. My fans will get to see another side of me and that excites me.”
Production for “Boot Tracks” wrapped last month and an official release date is planned for May 2012. Jayda also did an interview to discuss her roles in the film, which appears on the website for the highly circulated newspaper “The Cleveland Plain Dealer”.
