Back when I was a young’un, I wore an Elvis pompadour. For some reason, my mom insisted on calling me Jethro. I wish she had called me Elvis, instead, since that would have been the whole point of going to the pains of combing my hair like that – to look like Elvis.

But I was willing to accept Jethro because, next to Elvis, I thought at the time Max Baer Jr. was the coolest guy on the planet. Who knew, years later, that I’d been in Max Baer Jr.’s living room shooting the shit while a forest of naked chicks were promenading in his backyard for some kind of beauty contest. Only that’s a whole other story.

Which, getting back to the original thought, is the point of porn parodies, I guess. You wanna see just how close someone like Will Ryder, in Beverly Hillbillies XXX, is going to come with a Jethro lookalike or an Ellie Mae lookalike.
