Porn Valley- Trina Michaels, repped by LA Direct Models, was a guest of Sports Swami last Friday. Asked why she went with their agency, Michaels, a former secretrary, said she heard good things about them. “And I thought I’d take a chance.” Michaels was asked why she left a normal 9 to 5 occupation to go into porn. Michaels said she watched it in her personal life, thought it was cool, but didn’t know how to get into it. “I thought it was something that would never happen.” It was then that Michaels was presented an opportunity to meet with LA Direct and took the chance to come into the business.
Swami asked Michaels why she changed with mind from going with Joey Serio’s organization. “I talked to both of them around the same time,” Michaels said. “I decided to go with L.A. Direct.” Pressed for reasons other than the sheen of Ben English’s skull, Michaels couldn’t really offer any. Despite that, Michaels said she liked Serio but went with the company that talked to her first. Michaels says she hasn’t dealt to much with English but thinks that Hannah Harper is very sweet. “Ben is really cool,” she adds. “Some people think he’s kind of harsh. But I understand he has to be at times because he’s trying to run a business and he cares about his girls. He’s totally awesome.”
Life on an adult set is definitely different than life on the outside, said Michaels. “It’s work, basically. You’re stopping to do different positions. You’re stopping to do still pictures. They’re telling you what to do sometimes as opposed to making it up on your own. And sometimes when it’s going good they it flow and you go with your own thing.” As far as relating anything more on that subject, Michaels, sounding nervous, was frank with the fact that she hasn’t been in it for too long to further comment.
Pointing out that critics like to use the abuse issue as one that prompts girls to come into porn, Swami wondered why someone like Michaels walks away from the business world to embrace a world of porn. Michaels said sex is fun for her and she enjoys going to sets. “I have a good time. If you enjoy something why not get paid for it?” Michaels was also asked about emotional entanglements that might arise on the set. Her answer was that she hasn’t thought too much about it. Swami also asked if she’s met famous athletes or rock stars and one might surmise, given time, that she would. Michaels went on to answer a totally different question, however. “I don’t think any of my scenes have come out yet,” she said. “But it’s weird that people are going to be seeing me. It’s kind of a trip.”
Swami’s romantic rumor hooked up Michaels with WWE wrestler Randy Orton. Michaels conceded that Orton had a nice ass but said she wasn’t dating him. On the other hand, Michaels said she’s been seeing a “normal guy” for five years. “Is it serious?” he asked. No, Swami. She’s only been dating the guy five years, give it another five. Of course Michaels said it was serious. “Very serious.” The impression that Michaels lends is that her boyfriend’s turned on by her being in the business. “I tell him about what I did and he asks me questions. He always tells me that he enjoys watching me perform. He’s really supportive about it.” Asked if she’s brought home any extracurricular fun partners, Michaels said not yet. “But I hope to be able to meet one of the girls that he likes a lot,” she answered. “If she comes over that would be awesome- even if she just talks to him that would be cool.”
Michaels said her family doesn’t know about her career. And if they find out about it, she hopes that they would understand and see the business side of it. “It’s not like I’m being a slut or anything like that,” she added. But Michaels said she was dreading if they ever do find out. Michaels said she’d like to give the business a try for two or three years.
“I’m not sure if I’d ever become a contract girl,” she adds. “I haven’t given that too much thought.” So far, Michaels says she’s had positive experience in the business. And because she hasn’t been in the business very long, she doesn’t have a website to promote yet. “But my goal is to have one up by the end of the year.”
