from www.adultcybermart.com – Trust me. The day Jerry Sandusky fondles a girl over the age of 10, that’ll be news.
The day Czechoslovakia flew its first airplane, that was news, too. For Steve Hirsch, co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, the news this past week is that he’s being awarded AVN’s first Visionary Award.
While I’m not exactly sure what that means in the scheme of things, Hirsch did say that newly-minted porn star Chyna should be reading to first graders like Sasha Grey. So marvelous insight must have something to do with it.
I also remember the first time I met Hirsch. His comment to me was, “You must be intimidated being around all these successful people.”
I assume Hirsch, who began his porn career as a salesman for Sidney Niekirk, was including himself in that reference. And I assume men of vision like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates make put-down comments like that all the time.
Visions-wise, what I know is what I see in the Tarot cards [Read That Story Here] which, if you subscribe to the writings of Carl Jung, is basically all the guidepost you’ll need to understand the way mankind thinks and acts. Simply put, from the dawn of civilization, archetypical mankind has behaved quite predictably under given conditions.
If you’ve been doing Tarot readings as long as I have, you can see many aspects and levels of meaning in just one card.
I drew one at random for Hirsch to signify his reading. It was “The Devil”. It’s an interesting card in the sense that Hirsch did a re-make of The Devil in Miss Jones, so the likelihood of that project re-emerging in some other form is, at the very least, an educated guess.
Underscoring the card is some interracial aspect, so would it make to sense to say that a black version of The Devil in Miss Jones is in store? Perhaps. But I’m more inclined to believe that Hirsch will be making a business trip to South Africa this coming year.
Behind the scenes, I believe someone has made Hirsch an offer to buy his company and he’s turned it down.
The Devil Card is also the card of Capricorn [December 22nd to January 22nd] and so that period which includes the Christmas season would be significant to Hirsch. The fact that Hirsch is accepting his award on January 21st makes sense. He’s also entering a period of unavoidable mishaps, screw ups and where you become nostalgic for a former love- remember, it’s the holidays.
It’s during those times ruled by The Devil card when you try to make reconciliations but find your offers turned down. You feel overwhelmed, depressed, tired and run down. Perhaps you have problems sleeping.
With the Devil card there’s a message coming across loud and clear, but we rarely heed those words. It also warns about burning the candle at both ends. The Devil card is also advising Hirsch to stop with the TMZ-announced contract offers.
The Devil Card also indicates that you’re your own worst enemy and are really quite fragile underneath a vastly different exterior you give off to the rest of the world. Hirsch, like the Devil card would suggest, does have the ability to piss people off.
With the Devil card you have an addictive personality and generally gravitate to bad relationships. One must also take care, because the influence of The Devil card suggests that business relationships can also come back later to haunt and one may be doing so with Hirsch even as we speak.
The Devil card says you may be blind now regarding those circumstances, but your eyes will soon open. The Devil card likewise advises you to keep your ego in check, but that’s often impossible to do.
Just to be on the safe side, have a medical check up for diabetes,if you happen to draw this card right now.
Born May 26th, Hirsch is a Gemini and a stickler for loyalty. Those born that day are scrupulous about their eating habits and are obsessive about being slim and active, which fits Hirsch to a T.
Geminis born this date are quite methodical and well suited to handling money. They create practical goals and achieve them one step at a time.
Interview and appearance requests are on the upswing, but Hirsch’s overall reading is about self-doubt and confusion; difficult dealings with others is also par for the course. There’s a test of wills and a waiting game with one person in particular.
A charity requests his endorsement or contribution. A long standing dispute over money is finally resolved- perhaps through an intermediary.
A health problem or an injury needs attending to. There are tension backaches and feelings of numbness in the neck. As we get into February, expect the unexpected. There’s likely to be arguments over correspondence and missed messages.
The beginning of the new year and the next couple of months isn’t the time for taking risks and gambles, either, Hirsch should note. Put it this way, luck is not being a lady tonight and his whole world in general might seem out of whack and at times he won’t know whether he’s coming or going. “From pillar to post” is the applicable expression for the start of the new year.
Contract starlets are always a problem; expect more problems. An example would be not showing up for scheduled engagements, boyfriend problems, tug-o-war head games and business dealings; troubles with the law, etc.
“I’ll have their head for this” is a phrase particularly relevant to the frustration dealing with the kinds of issues Hirsch will be dealing with.
Social invites, however, will lighten a tense mood. Hirsch should make sure he accept these as they are very critical to his state of mind. A new business alliance or partnership is imminent as we get out of the doldrums of February. It may not seem like such a good idea now, but down the road it’s a different story.
There’s a secret admirer who will make their intentions less secret as the year progresses for Hirsch. It may begin under a pretext of doing business but there’s a romantic agenda attached.
