South Africa to get 24-hour porn channel

from www.entertainment.iafrica.com A new 24-hour adult entertainment channel will be available in South Africa from January 2012, reveals Rapport.

Porn Satellite TV (PSat), which will offer hardcore pornography, will reportedly be broadcast on the Astra 4A satellite – the same satellite used by TopTV.

The PSat website promises “one channel featuring only guy-on-girl, girl-on-girl and monstrous group orgies, all with the heterosexual viewer in mind”.

John Solomon of African Satellite Installations (ASI) told Rapport that his company would hire out the special decoders and smartcards needed to view the channel at a cost of R99 per month.

“PSat is totally independent of other satellite channels and you will need a special decoder, smartcard and a satellite dish to view the channel,” Rapport quoted Solomon as saying.

“All you have to do is unplug your TopTV decoder and replace it with the PSat decoder.”

ASI has already ordered 5000 decoders ahead of the channel’s South African launch.

PSat originated in France and is broadcast from outside of South Africa’s jurisdiction, Solomon told Rapport.

ASI’s website makes it clear that PSat and TopTV are not associated. Other free channels broadcast on the Astra 4A satellite will be made available to viewers who hire the special decoder.
