from www.lasvegassun.com – The four-day festival of flesh, eye-popping pulchritude and shocking, sky-high short skirts and stilettos known as the AVN/Adult Entertainment Expo returns to town today and kicks off with the wanton women of Wicked. Jessica Drake, Kaylani Lei, Stormy Daniels and Alektra Blue will be on near-naked display in their lingerie nightclub outfits at Gallery Nightclub in Planet Hollywood for tonight’s first party.
This morning, it’s like any other business for convention delegates, with leading attorneys at seminars dealing with everything from zoning laws to how to best use new social media. But this is the Adult Video Network and Adult Novelty Expo, so there’s a panel discussion about the ingredients that make up sex toys.
How do you ensure that it’s 100 percent silicone? A bigger worry, though, is if parody porn has peril or potential. Porn’s power players are in town, among them Hustler honchos Theresa Flynt and Michael Klein and Wicked’s controversial celebrity sex tapes chief Steven Hirsch, who is rumored to be dating Melissa Rivers.
Today is trade only, but fans can attend Thursday afternoon and again Friday and Saturday. There will be a parade of preening princesses to meet for autographs and photographs; one star attraction is former Las Vegas dancer and Tiger Woods flame Joslyn James.
