from www.nydailynews.com – A video showing University of Alabama fans allegedly sexually assaulting a passed-out LSU fan has gone viral over the past week, leaving many fans shocked and disgusted.
The video, which was first uploaded to the fan website BamaSportsForum and has since been deleted, shows a man wearing Louisiana State University gear passed out on a table at a Krystal restaurant in New Orleans, Deadspin.com reported.
An Alabama fan can be seen placing his private parts — among other objects — on the man’s head and mock sodomizing him.
One bystander is also heard wondering if the victim was dead.

The video, which was shot after Alabama beat LSU 21-0 in the BCS championship game Jan. 9 in New Orleans, received 10,000 views before being removed from YouTube, the LSU student newspaper reported.
Deadspin.com later confirmed the alleged victim was alive.
A New Orleans police spokeswoman told the Daily News that the office was investigating the incident.
“We collected evidence and we will hold on to it indefinitely,” she said.
According to reports, the victim has not come forward to file a complaint.
While the rivalry between Alabama and LSU has always been fierce, many fans thought the incident crossed the line.
“This took the rivalry to a whole new level,” LSU sophomore Trey Woodward told the LSU Reveille. “It’s complete defamation.”
