We’ve been hinting at it since last December, but it looks like it’s official. Tom Byron has launched Hall of Fame Management. Tori Welles is running it. The phone number is 818-484-5416.
“Technically, it’s not a talent agency,” Byron, a 30 year veteran of the adult industry, stresses.
“It’s a talent management company. Agencies take a percentage; we don’t. We charge a monthly management fee.”
Basically Byron’s taking the “old school” porn know-how approach and applying it to the way he’ll be running his business. The company will be repping male talent, female talent, video editors, script writers, essentially anyone involved in the production of a movie.
“While other talent agencies rely to their ‘go-to’ people to book talent for 17-man gangbangs, our ‘go-to’ people make real movies.”
According to Byron his company will be unveiling a female performer who’ll be the next Supergirl.
“She’s new to our management company but our productions are only using Hall of Fame management talent,” stresses Byron.
“The Hall of Fame Management girl instantly has first shot at becoming a Supergirl or the star of the next Axel Braun movie- a project that we’re associated with and a production that’s guaranteed. That’s something no other agent in the business can offer.”
Sounds like hardball and Byron agrees noting that he “poached” his new Supergirl from another agency that was asleep at the wheel.
“Our management company is not going to play nice,” he admits.
“We don’t play well with others.”
Part of the benefit’s package for talent that signs on is a YouTube page, video clips, trailers and new photo sets every month. The Hall of Fame site including all these features will launch next week.
“We also have an in-house makeup artist,” notes Byron.
“Claudia [the makeup artist] does all the high end girls. No other agency provides that, either.”
Though Byron didn’t mention it, it’s worth noting. Talent will have the benefit of dealing with someone who’s been a performer in the business for three decades.
And having Tori Welles, a former Vivid girl and performer of the year, on board beats anything other companies are currently offering. Welles, Byron notes, has been through all the issues porn performers might encounter and can offer her vast experience in a positive way.
“Tori knows the business, and this is a woman girls can go to when they have a problem or need advice. There’s nobody here guiding your career who used to be a former PA or cum towel jockey.”
