from www.hollywoodlife.com – Last year Teen Mom Amber Portwood was offered $500,000 to star in an adult video, but she turned it down. Now, sources report the reality-star-turned-train-wreck is having a change of heart, but Vivid Entertainment CEO says the buzz has worn off.
It’s been quite a rocky road for the troubled Teen Mom star Amber Portwood. She spent time in jail for battering her ex-fiance and daughter’s father, Gary Shirley, and barely avoided another stint for failing to take a mandated drug test.
Even though the reality starlet earns $280,000 per year for letting MTV into her home, Amber’s legal fees are mounting, and she’s willing to do whatever it takes to pay them off.
“Her paycheck from MTV only goes so far, and she’s really worried it will soon all be over,” an insider tells Reality Weekly. “And Amber hasn’t gotten any other offers as far as TV shows or promotions.”
Well, aside from the one offer to star in an adult film by Vivid Entertainment. “Vivid told her she was big and beautiful and that really boosted her self-esteem,” the insider reveals.
“Amber’s legal problems took over her life — but now that she is out of jail, she’s told them she’s really interested.”
Unfortunately, it seems that Amber missed her moment. “We would not be willing to pay Amber $500,000 anymore,” Vivid Entertainment CEO and Founder, Steven Hirsch, exclusively tells HollywoodLife.com.
“I don’t believe she is as popular as she once was. She was more of a novelty.” Ouch!
