ROME – from www.hollywoodreporter.com – Just weeks after Italian media tycoon and disgraced former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said he was looking for a director to help him make a movie of his life, he already has a taker — Italian porn actor and director Rocco Siffredi.

Siffredi, who has appeared in nearly 500 pornography films, is probably not what Berlusconi had in mind when he said he was mulling the production of an autobiographical film. But that has not deterred Siffredi, who, in an interview with RAI Radio 2 Thursday, begged Berlusconi to collaborate with him to make a film that appeared to be based on at least some aspects of Berlusconi’s life.

“I think he is one of only a few people in Italy who could do my job,” Siffredi said of Berlusconi, who is known for his taste for young women, and for his wild sex orgies he calls “Bunga Bunga” parties. “He has already accomplished everything. This is the only thing that’s left for him.”

Siffredi said in his vision, the film would include him, Berlusconi, and a cast of many women. “No co-stars,” Siffredi said. “We wouldn’t need anyone else. This is serious stuff, which takes talent, true talent.”

The story involving Siffredi appeared in Italian newspapers Friday, the same day the 75-year-old Berlusconi appeared in court in Milan in connection with the trial alleging he paid a then-17-year-old girl for sex when he was prime minster and then abused the power of his office to help get the girl, best known as Ruby the Heart Stealer, get off when she was arrested for shoplifting.

Berlusconi, who controls the Mediaset television and cinema giant, resigned as prime minister in November 2011 amid scandals and worries Italy could fall victim to the European debt crisis.
