from www.digitaljournal.com – Houston man Michael Brent Sewell, 32, is facing criminal charges after he posted a video of him and his ex-girlfriend having sex in the bedroom and in the livingroom to YouTube.
Sewell used the sex tape as blackmail against his ex-girlfriend to stay in the relationship, but when she finally ended the affair, he posted the video online. According to Daily Mail, the relationship between the two ended in November 2011.
The 29-year-old woman told Houston police she dated Sewell from August 2009 to November 2011, and that during the time they made videos of some of their sexual encounters for private use only. When she ended the relationship in November 2011, Sewell demanded for it to continue, and threatened he would post the videos to YouTube if she refused. The woman said she told him not to contact her anymore, but on April 4, 2012, she said she got an email from him telling her he had posted the videos to YouTube under the username “Michael McLoser.”
According to police, Sewell said he posted the video online to embarrass his ex-girlfriend and to get her fired from her job if possible. Houston Chronicle reports he was a arrested, charged with improper photography or visual recording, a state jail felony punishable by up to two years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
Daily Mail reports the criminal complaint stated: “The defendant admitted that he did edit and transmit to YouTube a ‘compilation’ video of himself and the complainant and posted it online on YouTube.The defendant also stated that he put the video online to embarrass her at her job to possibly get her fired.”
According to Houston Police investigators in an affidavit filed in the 338th District Court, “The complainant stated that the video recordings were for their personal use only and not to be distributed or shown to anyone.”
Daily Mail reports that after posting videos of him and his ex-girlfriend having sex online, Sewell also posted online a bizarre and violent video of himself dressed in a wig, naked and apparently under the influence of drugs. The video showed him vomiting and holding a gun to his head. In the four-minute video titled, “All You Need is Hate,” Sewell, according to Daily Mail, mimed the Three Days Grace Song, “I hate everything About You.” He struck suggestive poses naked on bed while singing along to the song.
Sewell was released on a $2,000 bond.
