Ms. Morgenstern took offense this week to Hustler photo shopping an image of conservative commentator S.E. Cupp for their magazine.
“It should go without saying that Hustler is a disgusting mag run by disgusting people and their photoshopping of SE Cupp is, yes, disgusting,” she wrote earlier on Twitter.
Larry Flynt responded by simply calling the photo what it was, “That’s satire,” he said in an email Wednesday.
Ah, those damn First Amendment and ‘public figures’ thing rearing its ugly head again.
This reminds me of a story about a world famous parody director taking offense to a little satire we did of him over the Christmas season. I guess he took offense to being portrayed as a Christmas elf. Well, long story short, he held his breath until the photo was removed from our site….but you never know, it may re-appear on Twitter someday.

Apparently a bidding war has erupted between these two outfits to take control of New Frontier Media. Longkloff opened the bidding at $1.35 a share. Manwin countered with a $1.50 a share then Longkloff increased their bid to $1.75.
Wow, kinda shows the value of porn these days: a whole $1.75 a share.
This reminds me of when another porn industry juggernaut, FriendFinder Networks, had their big IPO last year. They issued about 6 million shares at $10 per share. Friday the stock closed at $1.18 a share.
As the old saying goes, if you want to make a million dollars in the porn industry, start with $2 million.

The Forster Brooks award goes to Jenna Jameson.
Porn Industry legend and apparent lush, Jenna was arrested early Friday morning for DUI after a pole jumped out in front the car she was driving resulting in a collision. Jenna refused treatment but sadly the pole sustained fatal injuries.
A concerned citizen who called 911 told the operator that she suspected the drive of the car [Jenna] was drunk due to her erratic driving.
On the 911 tape Jenna can be heard crying and announcing to the world, “I’m Jenna Jameson.”
I have no idea how this arrest will affect her chances at being named Mother of the Year. It must have been Tito’s night to have the kids I guess.

The Dumber than a Bag of Hammers award goes to Tasha Reign.
At a fundraising gala in Monaco this week, Tasha, and fellow porn star Brooklyn Lee posed for a photo with former President of the United States, Bill Clinton.
A minor ‘scandal’ developed when TMZ got a hold of the photo and tried to make a mountain out of a mole hill [more on that below].
Declaring that the photo was innocent enough, Tasha told TMZ, “We feel sympathetic for Bill and I hope this doesn’t hurt his re-election or whatever he’s trying to run for,” she said.
Scarecrow, Darling, Bill isn’t running for anything. He’s just flying around the world giving speeches for about $100k and enjoying retirement.
This shows once again that the only thing that should come out of a porn star’s mouth is some guy’s cock.

The Kiss Your Political Ass-pirations Good-Bye award goes to Marc Bell.
Bell was at the Monte Carlo gala, a fundraiser for the Prince Albert Foundation and the Clinton Foundation, where porn actresses Brooklyn Lee and Tasha Reign posed with Clinton in a photo first reported by TMZ. The two actresses attended as Bell’s guests.
“It’s unfortunate that a harmless picture has gotten so much play,” Bell told ABC News in a phone interview from Monaco on Friday.
Sure, Marc tries to do a little damage control for Bill although I suspect he actually caused the damage by sending the photo to TMZ originally.
Just last month Marc announced that he’s stepping down as CEO of FriendFinder effective July 1 to possibly pursue a run for a Congressional seat in Palm Beach.
He is apparently trying to distance himself from his porn connections yet he invites two porn stars to this gala. I don’t think that will play well in conservative south Florida.
Oh, and another interesting question: How do two porn stars just happen to end up in Monte Carlo? Things that make you go hummmm….and things that ruin people’s hopes for political office.
