from www.digitalspy.com – Lindsay Lohan and porn star James Deen will star in new thriller The Canyons.
American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis, who penned the script for the movie, announced the casting for the Paul Schrader-directed thriller through his Twitter account.
“I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara,” he wrote.
“Shooting The Canyons starring James Deen and Lindsay Lohan: July 9-31 in LA. Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it…”
Deen is a prolific adult entertainment star whose credits include Pornstars Punishment 6, F**kenstein and Batman XXX: A Porn Parody.
The Canyons was partly financed through the Kickstarter website and has raised more than $150,000 in funding.
According to the Kickstarter synopsis, “The Canyons documents five twenty-somethings’ quest for power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood”.
Ellis has recently taken to Twitter to make known his desire to write the planned Fifty Shades of Grey movie adaptation. He has touted Girls’s Lena Dunham as his dream choice to play Anastasia Steele, while Ryan Gosling is his pick to play Christian Grey.
