NEW YORK –It’s going to get a bit hot and steamy in the city.
Five female porn stars from the “Golden Age of Porn” are holding a reunion at the Museum of Sex in Manhattan.
Veronica Hart, Gloria Leonard, Candida Royalle, Veronica Vera and Annie Sprinkle dominated the industry during the era of big, thick mustaches.
The women turned to each other for support, creating “Club 90″ in 1983 and forming a bond that has lasted 30 years.
Sprinkle, who starred in about 100 adult films in the 1970s and 80s, claims it was a life she loved.
“I was very interested in how films were made and I really loved sex,” Sprinkle told 1010 WINS’ John Montone.
Royalle, who starred in the classic “Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls,” also has fond memories of having sex on the big screen, including those iconic and notoriously bad bass-heavy porn beats.
But Sprinkle said you couldn’t hear the music while performing.
“It was quiet on the set so they can hear the M&Gs — the moans and groans,” she said.
The women will bare it all and expose themselves in a new light at an intimate reunion Tuesday night at the Museum of Sex. They will share behind the scenes stories and reminisce about the days when they ruled adult films.
The event begins at 6 p.m.
