Adam Wilcox has the following interview with Katie Summers on www.xxxwasteland.wordpress.com – Katie Summers has made her mark on the world of adult entertainment since her 2009 entry into the industry via roles with some of the top production companies in XXX. Katie’s three-year resume includes appearances for Hustler, Evil Angel, Adam & Eve and Jules Jordan Video.

Additionally, Katie was recently cast to play the part of Black Canary for Sinister X Syndicate’s Justice League 3DX feature film and Birds of Prey XXX ROKU television series under the Extreme Entertainment Network, both managed by producer Rob Black.

Summers also has several music video appearances to her credit, namely R.O.T.N.’s hip-hop song “I Just Wanna F*CK” and the recently released single by former adult megastar Bree Olson titled “Hollywood Douchebag.”

Katie kindly granted XXX Wasteland a recent interview to discuss her blossoming career in adult entertainment, being chosen for the Black Canary role, her recent music video appearances and more.

Q: Let’s start at the beginning: Can you tell us how you initially became interested – and later involved – in the adult industry?

I was a dancer back home in Texas and a girl I worked with used to do porn. I thought I would be perfect for the industry because I was 19, blonde, young, innocent, but was very sexual and seductive. I took interest and talked to an agent, and once I started I knew this is what I wanted to do.

Q: What do you enjoy most about being an adult film performer?

I love the relationships I build within the business, no matter who it’s with, performers or the companies. I love everyone I work with and work for. The second best thing is that I can be something different in each scene and I get to fulfill all my fantasies.

Q: You recently launched an official website, Club Katie Summers, with Pornstar Platinum. What can fans expect when they sign up for membership?

Everything Katie Summers! It’s all about what I love doing the most and my fans can see what we all enjoy doing the most. There will be a few surprises no one has seen me done yet as well.

Q: The Rob Black-helmed Sinister X Syndicate signed you to play the role of Black Canary in June for the company’s Justice League 3DX feature film and Birds of Prey XXX ROKU television series. Can you tell us about those projects?

We will be filming later this year Birds of Prey XXX 2 and JLA3DX. I can’t disclose too much on the projects or nothing will be shocking and surprising for the viewers. I can inform you guys that it will be sexier and more action-packed!

Q: You recently acquired roles in a pair of music videos, one for mainstream hip-hop group R.O.T.N. and the other in former adult star Bree Olson’s single “Hollywood Douchebag.” Can you tell us about those experiences?

I love the boys from R.O.T.N. Stu Stone is a good friend of mine and when he told me about the music video and wanted me to be a part of it, I couldn’t say no. Bree Olson’s recent music video was a lot of fun to be a part of and I got to be like Paris Hilton since my dog was part of it as well.

Q: Do you have any specific aspirations in mind for your career or a visual of where you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully, I will have my own production company, be directing and producing, and www.ClubKatieSummers.com will still be the hottest site. I am not planning on going anywhere. Who knows – maybe I might write a book or there will be a mainstream movie about me. A girl can dream!

Q: Is there one general misconception about adult entertainment from those outside the industry that you wish you could dispel?

The one thing I can’t stand is when people say porn is discriminating against women. But if people really paid attention, they would know if a girl didn’t want to do porn she wouldn’t and it’s her choice to do whatever she wants to do in a scene. Porn is looked down upon by people who know nothing about our business, yet porn still is a top business in today’s world.

Q: Let’s learn a little bit about Katie Summers, the person. Can you tell us where you were raised and how you would describe yourself growing up?

I was born and raised in Texas. I’m an only child, I played piano, I went to a Catholic school and was a black sheep in my family. I’m happy about my childhood, still super close to my parents and don’t regret anything.

Q: What are some of your interests and hobbies?

I love writing, music, scripts and quotes. I also love laying in bed masturbating, watching movies, or reading a book. I’m actually reading the Fifty Shades trilogy and I actually like it. I don’t care what anyone says.

Q: Let’s talk favorites: Favorite movie, television show, musical artists, etc.

My favorite movie is Dirty Love with Jenny McCarthy and my fave TV show is Gossip Girl. I love all kinds of music, so it’s hard to say one musical artist. I love all sorts of entertainment and I’m glad I can be a part of the entertainment field.

Q: Is there one thing about yourself that you feel would surprise most people?

I’m a big homebody. I love to sit in my house like a turtle and chill. I also love panda bears a lot and I think they are the cutest animal ever!

Q: Are there any current or upcoming projects in the works that you would like to mention?

Besides www.ClubKatieSummers.com, I recently shot with T-Shirt company Two in the Shirt, and I’m so excited to see what the shirts are going to look like. I also have a bunch of new movies coming out, especially the ones from Sinister X Syndicate.
