Badge Bitches are Out There

Though the N.Y. Post article doesn’t give you the place to go, here it is…http://groups.msn.com/LadiesWhoLoveLawmen

New York: They can’t resist a man in uniform and usually keep a low profile.

But a so-called “badge bunny” from Staten Island who boasted of bedding up to 300 cops and firefighters since the 9/11 attacks has thrust women who lust for men with uniforms and badges into the spotlight.

Scores of them can be found on a handful of Web sites, where they entice lawmen with nude photos and lurid fantasies and set up kinky trysts.

Several “bunnies” who spoke to The Post shed light on their fixation on lawmen – a preference that sometimes blooms into a troubling obsession.

“My friends always say, ‘If there’s a cop, Kelly’s close behind,’ ” said Kelly, an buxom, blond accountant from Putnam County who has dated a city cop, a city fireman, an EMT and a handful of state troopers. “I can’t see a cop on the street without being distracted and start thinking things.”

Kelly, who asked that her last name not be used, echoed many badge bunnies who said they were drawn to the machismo, the authority and heroism a badge, gun and uniform evoke.

“It’s anyone in uniform,” the 30-year-old said. “It’s authority, that power, if they look really good in uniform. It’s that arrogant, tough-guy attitude.”

Kelly’s first brush with the law was in the back of an ambulance with an EMT boyfriend about three years ago.

“He was cleaning out the ambulance, and I was like, you know, ‘What do you say?’ It was definitely exciting,” the blue-eyed badge lover recalled.

With cops and state troopers, the fun starts with flirting when she gets pulled over.

” ‘Officer, arrest me, I’ve been a bad girl’ type thing,” she said, giggling.

One trooper became her lover after he was called to her grandmother’s home six months ago, when the elderly woman died, Kelly said.

“He was very comforting,” she said of the trooper, one of two she’s now involved with. “I ended up dating him, and we still see each other.”

In the past, badge bunnies, also known as “badgies,” “badge lickers” and “tin lizards,” have met cops by intentionally speeding, hanging around police bars or filing silly complaints at precincts.

One legendary bunny was known to many a Bronx cop simply as “Lila.”

Lila trolled the Grand Concourse with her dog in the ’70s in search of cops on whom she could perform oral sex, a retired NYPD detective said.

“There wasn’t a cop in The Bronx that didn’t know her name,” the detective said. “She must’ve been with 5,000 guys.”

Freddie Noboa said he turned his ambulance into a “roving hotel room” during his years as an FDNY EMT in Queens and recalled a 21-year-old badgie named “Angie” who kept his crew busy while awaiting emergency calls.

“We would meet her at Dunkin’ Donuts near Springfield and Hillside Avenue,” said Noboa, who left the EMS in 1996 and is now a medic employed by a local hospital.

“She would undress for us while we took pictures of her. She would put on a show, do a striptease, and we would all grope her.”

These days, badge bunnies have set up Web sites where they share their sexual fantasies, post nude photos and set up trysts with their quarry.

Kathleen, a 40-something self-confessed badgie from New Jersey, runs a Web site called “Ladies who Love Lawmen,” which boasts 154 members, including two NYPD cops, a Rikers Island guard, and a handful of state correction officers.

On the site, officers share explicit pictures of themselves and bunnies reward them with “prizes” that include naked pictures and videos. The site has led to sexual trysts among members, Kathleen said.

Last May, a half-dozen members “had a great time” at a weeklong police memorial in Washington, D.C., and there are plans for a larger gathering in Myrtle Beach when two cops return from Iraq, she said.

The group is also planning a badge bunny calendar for members only, she said.

Debra Manning, a willowy blond paralegal from California, posted a topless video of herself on the site last week and said she joined the group six months ago to overcome her police phobia.

“I was one of these outlaw women, and I used to scream and run from policemen,” she said. “I decided to embrace my fear.”

Manning, in her 30s, said she has not yet dated any cops but said she’s open to the idea.

“There is something about being with authoritative men that makes you feel safe,” she said. “Not too many people mess with you when [you’re] with a man in uniform.”
