from www.queerty.com – Justice came for David Aldorf, the notorious ne’er-do-well behind Media West Entertainment, a pirate-DVD operation that’s been selling thousands of copies of releases from major gay-porn studios like Bel Ami, Falcon, Jocks, Raging Stallion, Treasure Island and Chaos Men.

U.S. marshals raided Aldorf’s Palm Springs home and warehouse on Thursday morning after a $5 million judgment was rendered against Aldorf’s pirating operation in favor of Bel Ami and CockyBoys.

Aldorf must have brass balls because he was still replicating and mailing out bootlegs even after the judgment, “essentially giving away for free top-selling titles from BelAmi and CockyBoys, amongst others, in order to sell his other product,” a press release about the raid states.

“The raid proved it was much worse than we thought—in addition to thousands of copies of the 33 titles listed in the seizure order, thousands more copies from other well-known studios were discovered,” said attorney D. Gill Sperlein, who was representing both Bel Ami and CockyBoys’ parent company, Media Partners.

“People like David Aldorf [have been] going unchecked for years while making money on the back of hardworking producers and single-handedly helping to kill off the DVD business as we know it. ”

In perhaps a bit of divine retribution, Aldorf wasn’t actually present when the raid was conducted—he was in the hospital with kidney stones.

Ouch!
