from www.digitaltrends.com – International CES – formerly the Consumer Electronics Show – is the must-attend trade show for all things that fall under the guise of electronics, gadgets, gizmos and devices that we’ll all be watching and drooling over throughout the year.

But the annual event, which sees some 60,000+ people descend upon Las Vegas, isn’t the only show in town in early January. There is another notable show – namely the AVN or Adult Video News conference – that gets a lot of attention as well, though for entirely different reasons.

But alas CES attendees: Next month AVN will once again take place a week later than CES, overlapping with the firearms industry conference known as the SHOT Show. That’s right: guns and porn stars in one place.
