from www.ynot.com – – Joanna Angel and her roommate founded BurningAngel.com 10 years ago with money they earned waitressing. Today, Angel, a petite dynamo, oversees a multimedia empire that receives almost as much attention in the mainstream as it does in adult.

The operation has grown so much that Angel recently began considering taking on a partner to manage the rapidly expanding tech side of the business so she can concentrate her efforts on filmmaking and the company’s other creative ventures. A friend suggested Gamma Entertainment … and the partnership was born.

Under a deal inked late last week, Gamma’s FameDollars division, based in Montreal, will manage the back end and marketing for all the sites in the Burning Angel network, plus help to develop new properties.

“Over the course of the past 10 years, I have turned this little project into a real company and a real brand,” Angel said. “It’s frustrating at times to know we have so much potential to go much further but lack the resources to take us there, and that is where Gamma will come in.”

Working with Angel and her crew, FameDollars will redesign and re-launch BurningAngel.com as a mega-site and network gateway. The new incarnation is expected to launch sometime this spring, containing content from the eight sites currently in the network: PunkPorn.com, JoannaAngel.com, CumOnMyTattoo.com, BigBoobsAreCool.com, FuckMeInTheBathroom.com, HeavyMetalPussyParty.com, POVPunx.com and PunkSchoolGirls.com.

The component sites will receive makeovers, as well, focusing on creating a more responsive layout, new photo plug-ins, zipped content files and a slideshow — all designed to improve end-user experience.

“We are so excited with this partnership because of its great potential,” said FameDollars Director of Product and Development Magalie Rheault. “We don’t have content like Burning Angel does, so it’s a natural fit to our growing repertoire.

“Nothing changes for affiliates or members at this point, but we’ll keep everyone posted for any new developments,” she added.
