from www.chron.com – A 38-year-old nurse’s aide at Taylor High School has been accused of having sex with a 12th-grade student at the school after the boy’s mother saw sexually explicit messages on her son’s Facebook page.
Maria Calvillo is charged with improper relationship with a student, according to court documents filed in the case.
The allegations, according to the documents, came to light after the student’s mother found sexually explicit messages on her son’s Facebook page in October. She alerted authorities.
It was later determined the messages were from Calvillo, a nurse’s aide at the school.
The documents state Calvillo admitted sending the messages, but she denied having sexual contact with the teen.
However, the boy told investigators the pair had sex twice in the storage closet at the school’s clinic in September.
Officials with Alief Independent School District could not be reached for comment.
