from www.wwltv.com – HANCOCK CO., Miss. — A 31-year-old former special education teacher in Hancock Co., Miss., was arrested and charged with sexual battery of a child victim.

Leslie Danielle DeWitt was booked with three counts for actions authorities believe happened when she was a position of trust of a victim who was 16 at the time.

DeWitt is a former educator and coach a various schools along the Gulf Coast, but was arrested in Hancock Co., because that’s where the actions took place.
