Former porn star Jenna Jameson will reportedly not be charged with battery due to lack of evidence, but the woman whom she allegedly assaulted is looking to slap her with a restraining order.
Jameson was placed under citizen’s arrest in Newport Beach, Calif., on Saturday, April 6. She was later taken to the Newport Beach Police Jail, cited for battery and eventually released without having to post bail, CNN reported.
Although the 39-year-old did not speak with the media, she took to Twitter on Sunday and put the blame on her accuser and personal assistant, Britney Markham. “Wow just got robbed by a friend @britneymarkham she accused me of gusting her, and broke into my home and took everything,” read the tweet, which was later deleted, according to the New York Daily News.
Markham is apparently now seeking a restraining order, TMZ reported. According to legal documents, Markham claims Jameson punched her in the stomach and back using a brass knuckles iPhone case. She also claimed the XXX star threatened to kill her.
The incident left her hospitalized.
On Thursday, TMZ reported Jameson will not be charged with battery due to lack of evidence against her. It is unclear if the assistant is still planning to file a civil suit.
The former “Queen of Porn” retired from the adult entertainment biz in 2008 and has since been making headlines for run-ins with the law.
Last May, Jameson was arrested for DUI after she crashed her Range Rover into a light pole in Santa Monica, Calif. She later pleaded guilty and received three years of informal probation. In 2010, the father of her twins and mixed martial artist Tito Ortiz was charged with domestic violence against her. Ortiz claimed they were fighting because she was addicted to the prescription painkiller OxyContin and was emotionally unstable.
