Chanel Preston just found out the hard way, that Los Angeles banks could give a hoot if you’re in porn, possibly making big bucks, or stand a chance of spreading some of that porn largesse around town. God forbid.
City National Bank shut down Preston’s business account because it was tied to her webcamming operation. I know dozens of situations where people in the industry are denied loans or the opportunity to establish an account because of their ties to porn.
Ah, but Diane Duke tells us that if porn were to leave Los Angeles billions of revenue would be lost. Really, Diane? What occupation do you list on your credit apps? Do you tell people you’re in the porn industry?
Oh, my guess, is, you work for a corporation that has some non-porn sounding name to it. But what if you’re a porn chick opening an account for the first time? What do you list as your occupation? Escort? Stress Relief Manager? Friend of Charlie Sheen? Client of the elite talent agent Mark Spiegler?
Which makes me wonder how the banks handle a whopping $1.3M check deposited by Backdoor Mom Farrah Abraham.
