Talk is cheap.

Last week on his show, www.therobblackshow.com Rob Black kept mentioning a watchdog organization that was going to be set up to help porn performers who may have issues with contracts, have been hassled by pimp-agents or perhaps are being misused by directors and others who would pimp them out.

Black had been dropping hints, tantalizing and doing a strip tease. Now he’s ready to show some skin. It’ll be Tuesday.

“There will be an organization announced along with a website, phone number and an email address, the whole nine yards,” Black told me during my call-in segment on his show Friday.

“Will it involve health right now, no?” said Black.

“It will be a slow moving shock and awe. We’re now getting to the point where people are calling us saying, ‘I’m with OC Modeling. Danny does these fucked up things with the contracts. She takes power of attorney and she gets uppity.’

“You got a second wave of people who are going here’s my story,” Black continued.

“‘But I’m too scared to come out.’ Just like you saw with the Starr sisters. Now I’m getting people saying my name is such and such.

“So this is not radical talk-shit. We’re actually doing things. Tuesday this group will be formed and it will start a united workers’ front. It will evolve into healthcare and a plethora of other things. Right now it will be like those TNT movies where you can’t go to the police and have to go to the A-team.

“If a girl or a guy has a problem they can now call this organization. This organization will give them the backing and the letterhead, so to speak and wherewithal to go to this united workers’ front and talk to them and their attorneys.

“That is what will be in place. It will be an open door policy for anybody that’s in our business that has an issue or a problem. Legal counsel will be there. So if the girl wants to get out of any contract whatsoever, they don’t have to pay Gelbard, they go to this organization which will cover all costs. This will evolve into your healthcare and workers issues- anything that provides a good work environment and affords protection and safety for all its workers.

“You’ll be taken care of as if you were in a union working towards a common goal. Will this organization start the process towards giving you health care? Yes. Will it be completely free of charge to its members? Yes. Will it be funded with political money involved? Yes. Will this organization be taken care of with government financing? Yes.

“It will be up to the talent at hand if they will accept it, be a part of it and embrace. Will they use it? That’s the question. We’ll see if it’s answered.”

Black stressed that mums the word, that talent won’t have to fear about being ratted out.

“It’s up to you. If you come out of the shadows and say I want to make this public; I want to be an activist and part of making a difference and a positive change- that is when you’re identity will be revealed. And all donors will be kept confidential under 501.

“Everything is in place and in effect. It’s the big shock and awe bomb coming Tuesday.

“It’s one thing for Rob Black the kooky radio guy to be sitting on tin can radio and talking about this. It’s another when you’re affording the people lawyers and representation.

“That’s not a crazy man talking. That’s someone putting true activism and watch dog-ism into play. Legal representation like this is something no one in this business can offer or give.”
