It’s time to put up or shut up said Rob Black on his Monday afternoon show, www.therobblackshow.com
“The consumer wants condomless porn? They’ll have to pay for it,” Black added.
He then spent a good portion outlining the changes he envisions for the business. In the same breath Black was dismissive of Bill Margold who’s been attacking him on Twitter, saying Black is offering nothing substantive. Black challenged Margold to show what he’s done for the porn business except pay his rent through the PAW Foundation.
“This piece of human garbage has the audacity to run his fucking mouth and say without saying names that, ‘all they [meaning Black] do is talk, talk and have no solutions.’
“Bill Margold and the old order in porn either don’t listen to my show, listen to my show, or deny they listen to my show, or are clueless to the political dissent within our business.
“When the old order accuses me of saying we have no plan they are lying to you. They are bold faced liars. If I hear this bullshit argument one more time we have no solutions- if I hear Margold say we have no solutions, no answers, I’m going to make sure we put pictures on our website that he’s a douchebag lying thieving scoundrel with a fake web site.
“You are a lying, thieving cheating piece of human garbage.
“If you [Black’s critics] don’t agree with these ideas and you’ve got a better idea, I’m totally open for real dialogue. But just to say this will never work, you’re just losing face and are done with the argument.”
Black then outlined some of the specifics which the UAWA will try to achieve.
“Condoms in all productions,” said Black.
“You shoot a sex scene you wear a condom. We feel this is in the best interests of the business. Blowjobs without condoms. Pop shots on the body – no facials, and three week mandatory testing.
“This will work in conjunction with the state and federal government. The government can deliver mail to my Aunt Jenny’s house, so they can do this. When you get Social Security, you don’t tell the government that it doesn’t do anything good. When, as a farmer, you get a subsidy then you like the government. You like when the government gives you tax breaks. So don’t tell me the government can’t do anything.
“You all live off the government – someone in your family survives because of the government. Don’t forget that.
“Our business right now isn’t mandatory,” Black continued.
“There’s no regulatory testing, nothing. Everything we do is on the honor system. What if Marcus had a stretch of work where there were one-man crews and no producer caught that discrepancy on his test?”
Black said he’ll be the first to admit that he never went over tests with a fine tooth comb.
“I’m telling you I’m not the only one who was a one man crew where you looked at tests and decoded whether Nina Hartley was bullshitting you about gonorrhea or syphilis. But Marcus did that.
“If he didn’t look suspicious, why would you study his tests? You’re cool.”
Black said had there been state regulation, the Marcus incident would never have occurred.
“But Marcus wasn’t regulated by anybody and went through the cracks; but all those who fight against condoms will tell you the business is perfectly safe. The people in this business represent a corrupt authority and give you misinformation.
“It’s not a Free Speech argument,” Black went on to say.
“I’m not a lawyer, judge or profess to be any of those things, but I never heard in America like this all or nothing approach.”
Black re-emphasized that there would be condoms, a three week test and “no exchanging bodily fluids as far as orifices- anal, mouth, eyes.”
“Even with that we know we’re not going to be completely safe, but there’s not an all or nothing aspect to it. Even when we’re trying to be safe, there’s a risk but with Stagliano nobody’s safe.
“I don’t have aspirations to think what we do is easy. I know that. It is hazardous, but like any hazardous sport, you get protected. Even in sports you have people that die, but we did all we could do to keep that sports star safe. It’s not 100%, but it’s the best right now and our business can’t say the testing policies are 100% safe.”
Black pointed out that there would be policies and protocols for exemptions to the condom rule.
“If a company wants to be exempt and make condomless movie, they’ll have to go through a regulatory body and go through the proper paperwork. There would be a quarantine and extra testing, and all that means extra money.
“We’re going to pass the money costs to consumers to do the pornography the consumer wants. If the consumer wants that, they’re going to pay for the privilege. If we are as big and bad as we say, the consumers are going to want to see the latest Bonnie Rotten movie with condomless porn.
“The consumer will either have to pay more, or say, fuck her I’ll watch someone else. So it’s time to put up or shut up, business, and put a premium on the business aspects.
“If you’re saying this won’t work, then the business is dog shit, you’ve been making dog shit product and it’s all been a game.
“There’s your way to shoot condomless porn and have a condom mandate.”
Black said this would all be regulated by the UAWA and a government regulating body.
Black’s health testing proposals would not comes as good news to Talent Testing Services or Cutting Edge.
“All testing would fall under one central testing facility,” stated Black.
“You would also have to get a check up by a doctor on staff to make sure you don’t have herpes or anything that shows up in the blood or a pee pee test. That one central testing facility – the UAWA clinic- they’ll also take outside people. They’re urgent care. That’s our industry, urgent care.
“You’re feeling sick you go to the doctor from our industry. Explain to me what is wrong with saying get rid of Talent Testing, Cutting Edge and all the rinky dink operations and have one central testing facility that is also a medical clinic? How is that such a difficult thing to comprehend?
“This is something involving the federal and local government. Fuck Manwin. You’re talking about working in conjunction with government and can amass a war chest like you’ve never seen before. When the Free Speech Coalition is gone and replaced, all the money they raised comes into those coffers.”
Black said there would also be one central casting agency.
“No one works in production unless they go through the central casting process.” Black said a screening process would be employed to weed out sociopaths from coming into the porn business.
“Are they criminals? Are they running away from mommy and daddy? We want to know who you are and why you’re trying to get into the business. In not one industry can you walk off the street and say, ‘pay me bitch.”
“For every other job that’s out there you go for interviews – even at McDonald’s they’ll ask you if you’re a convicted felon, and they’ll decide if you’re qualified to run a fry cooker.
“Maybe it’s not a bad idea to have some kind of intake process. In our business you can have any girl come in looking as cracked out as fuck and you’ll be signed up and working in a movie the next day. That’s awesome. You’re going to tell me that’s Orwellian?
“Yeah you can flunk out of porn,” said Black.
“You flunk your medical, you’ve flunked out of porn.” Black said from now on the business would be off limits to “transient hooker junky fucks trying to make a quick buck.”
“But once you pass central casting and go through the process where you’re bonded, finger printed and given a license to work in adult films you’ll be put in a casting agency pool of workers. From that list you will be able to get work from any and all people who make porn.
“And you will now have a lobbying organization to replace the Free Speech Coalition,” Black added for good measure.
“The lobbying organization will work hand in hand with the UAWA and the good officials of California.
“Anything in the world today happens because of lobbyists. People work with other people in Washington and spread money around. We say we have billions, but when push comes to shove there’s no money around except for three people.”
Black sees these important slots staffed by lawyers, “and by knowledgeable people that are doing everything in their power to look out for the best interests of the business.”
“The UAWA is about doing something fresh in a new order. There is a new way of doing things.”
