from www.wavy.com – PASQUOTANK COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) – A Pasquotank County teacher is accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.

In May, the incident involving a student and a teacher at Northeastern High School was originally reported.

It wasn’t until Monday that the teacher, Shannon Fox, was indicted by a grand jury on three counts of sexual activity with a student by a teacher, Sheriff Randy Cartwright with the Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office told WAVY.com.

Fox turned herself in Monday following the indictments.
