UK- British porn star Abi Titmuss has launched a pop music career, releasing an underground track of dance songs and taking singing lessons.

Titmus, 28, wants to take her new career on the road, even traveling to Iraq to entertain British troops, Sky News reported Monday.

I want to sing while I go on tour with my calendar and workout video, she said.

I’ve recorded a few demos, one being a cover of a ’70s disco track called ‘Do It Again.’ It seems to go down well with the clubbers. Who knows, I may even release it commercially, Titmuss said.

Titmuss said she eventually would like to end up on West End like Jennifer Ellison, who starred in TV’s Brookside before taking a role in the musical Chicago.

But it won’t be anything like ‘Chicago.’ Something comic would be great for me really, she said.

On another issue, Titmuss will not face drugs charges even though she admitted involvement in buying cocaine.

Police said they were taking no further action against the former girlfriend of TV presenter John Leslie.

Scotland Yard launched an investigation in January after Titmuss, 28, told a Sunday newspaper she gave £100 to a male companion who wanted to buy some cocaine.

She described how they met in a West End club and took a taxi to a council estate in Chelsea, west London, where he had arranged to pick up a quantity of the drug.

Titmuss was questioned by detectives after the story was published.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: “No further action will be taken by police.”

A spokeswoman for Titmuss added: “Abi is pleased the matter has been resolved.”

Last week the ex-nurse was reported to have launched a legal fight to ban sales of a home-made porn video which showed her taking part in a lesbian romp at Leslie’s home.
