Porn Valley- Is Extreme Associates ripping off their own product? However Hunter wasn’t afraid to say that she wouldn’t be working with Extreme Associates again any time soon because of the scene she had just done for them which saw cum being wiped up with an American Flag.
Prior to that, Capo had been talking about Rob Black’s double-dare to John Ashcroft to come and get him. Apparently Black, who was subsequently indicted by the DOJ, won a round since Ashcroft has decided to step down from the US Attorney General’s post.
Hunter said she got the feeling that Black was pushing it. “Of course,” said Capo. “That’s Rob Black’s nature. He did the Frontline piece. He was on PBS. They did the story on him on PBS and he specifically taunted the Attorney General. I can understand that and I don’t disagree with that. That is the great thing about this country- if you want to taunt the Attorney General and go c’mon you cocksucker, you sure can. Likewise the Attorney General has the right to march in your office and quarantine your shit until he goes through all your records which is exactly what they did.”

“Things went surprisingly well for them,” said Capo. “I think that prosecution was anticipating that Extreme Associates would play the First Amendment Card and that we got the Freedom of Speech to do this. But it became more of an issue to right of privacy in your own home. And being able to make a decision as an adult as to whether or not you want to view this material. Because it is not out there for public display. It is something you have to seek very deliberately. It goes from the manufacturer directly to the consumer’s home. If you are incapable of keeping it out of the hands of minors, children…” Capo talked about how the case was based primarily on mail order. “Which goes directly from the producer with nobody involved. And that’s why this issue is such a stickler- is because who has the right to impose community values when the community was never involved?”
Capo’s of the belief that Extreme has always had a good case [made even better with the DOJ shakeup]. “As much as I am not a fan of the particular genre that they cater to or that they’re being prosecuted for, I do believe firmly in their right to do whatever they want to.”
Hunter added that she probably won’t be filming very much for them anymore. That’s when she related the American flag story. Hunter said she was supposed to do a d.p.
“And typical porn, it turned into a b.j. It was really funny because we had to wear masks.” Hunter said she being a Republican, was put in a Reagan mask. “Sadly, God bless his soul.” Hunter said she was required to do a b.j. on a performer wearing the Bush mask. “It was really kind of funny and I could laugh through it. Do whatever you want it’s just a scene. Ha-hah-ha.”
Hunter said she drew limits when someone wanted to wipe up the cum with an American Flag. “I said don’t do it. This is a real American Flag. I’m an American- I’m very, very proud. You have a right to say whatever you want about other people. But there’s a point of respect when it comes to your country.”
Hunter said Extreme wound up using the flag, anyway.
“I was really disturbed after that because I didn’t want that whole picture being put with me. I didn’t want to be a part of it, and I didn’t have a say.”
