Ah-nuld, Ah-nuld vat do you say?

How many chicks did you grope today?

Apparently at this point no one cares as the total of Ah-nuld accusers has reached 15 and both Gray Davis’ and the L.A. Times’ feeble attempts at a smear campaign are swinging like a limp dick.

If you’re keeping score, four more women accused Arnold Schwarzenegger yesterday of groping, but, an NBC News poll showed the Gropernator scandal failing to weaken his support.

Ah-nuld had 36% of the vote, 9 points above his nearest rival, Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante.

“The allegations don’t seem to be sticking,” said the NBC pollster, Stuart Elway. “And he’s leading among women voters.”

But the NBC poll also found considerable last-minute volatility. While support for the recall was still high, at 54%, more people now say they are undecided about whether to oust the widely disliked governor, Gray Davis. The number of people “definitely” voting to oust Davis dropped to 44% from 52% in three days.

“A significant segment of the electorate is taking a second look at the recall question,” Elway said.

Four more women – for a total of 15 so far – told stories yesterday to the L.A. Times of being grabbed, groped and humiliated.

A woman who worked on the set of the 2000 film “The 6th Day” said Schwarzenegger cornered her in a kitchen, pinned her to his chest, spanked her five or six times and whispered, “This is what should happen at your house every morning.”

“It was playful for him,” she said. “It was not at all playful for me.”

Bustamante, Davis and GOP state Sen. Tom McClintock all opened inconsequential fire on Ah-nuld

“The number of victims is mounting daily,” Davis said. “Are all these women and their families lying?”

He demanded the movie star answer the charges “in detail, not through partial explanations, evasive answers or partial denials.”

Bustamante told a campaign crowd, “I want to ask you as a father of three daughters, vote no on the recall.” On CNN, he said, “It’s one surprise after another with this guy. I think we’ve had one surprise too many. I don’t think he’s fit to be governor.”

McClintock said the choice was all about character.

“I have a 13-year-old daughter. Those charges, they hit home,” he said on CNN. “If these were accusations made against a teacher, that teacher would be suspended.”

Schwarzenegger has branded the new allegations lies and “puke politics” – but the argument rings somewhat hollow, because he has publicly apologized for “behaving badly.”

Last night, he told “Dateline NBC” that “I never grabbed anyone [or] pulled up their shirt and grabbed their breasts and stuff like that.”

He promised to address the specific allegations “as soon as the campaign is over.”

On the other hand Schwarzenegger fans carry signs saying “Gray groped our ASSets.”
