Hookers Ran Ads in New York Magazine

New York- The sexy sister of an accused millionaire madam pranced out of Manhattan court yesterday as their Bible-thumping mom said she cannot believe her daughters got rich on sins of the flesh.

“They never talked to me about any of this. Oh my Lord,” God-fearing mom Elsa Genao told the Daily News.

“It was so much work raising those girls,” said Genao, 75, of Inwood. “Oh, the pain!”

Elsie Paulino – a 50-year-old stunner who looked at least 20 years younger, with full lips and a curvy figure – strolled out of court yesterday after being cut loose, for now, on charges of helping her sister run a high-priced East Side brothel.

Jenny Paulino, 44, described by prosecutors as a madam who ran the E. 60th St. house of ill repute, will appear in court today.

She allegedly used ads in New York magazine to lure rich clients willing to pay $500 to $2,500 for a menu of kinky sex acts with gorgeous call girls.

She raked in an estimated $2.5 million over five years from the hooker ring, living a luxurious life at Trump Palace when she was not at her second home, in Miami, authorities said.

Yesterday afternoon, the Paulinos’ elderly mother, fresh from winning $1 at the Dyckman Senior Center’s bingo game, insisted she never dreamed Jenny or Elsie was running a brothel.

“Their entire lives, I told them, ‘Don’t do wrong things. Live your lives in peace,'” the mother said in her immaculate apartment. “I don’t know their lives downtown.”

The retired factory worker also was stunned to hear that her Jenny from the block – a divorced Catholic school graduate – allegedly had made millions by selling sex to rich men.

“My Lord, she had millions?” she asked. “That’s another shocker.”

“They don’t even curse,” added Ismael Genao, the women’s uncle.

While relatives bemoaned the sisters’ alleged misdeeds, Elsie Paulino was facing a judge in a lower Manhattan courtroom.

Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Judith Levitt freed her without bail on charges of promoting prostitution. She is accused of being a booker for the call girl ring.

Gorgeous Czech native Monika Hajkoba, 27, was charged with helping the Paulino sisters run the X-rated operation.

Donna Cohen, 49, of Bloomfield, N.J., was accused of being a bookkeeper, but said she had no idea why she was arrested.

Prosecutors know the names of many of the brothel’s alleged clients, but sources said they have no plans to charge the well-heeled johns, citing the difficulty of winning convictions.

Days before busting the best little brothel on E. 60th St., authorities moved to freeze Jenny Paulino’s assets and seize any ill-gotten gains.

Vice squad detectives told a judge they identified $1.5 million in credit card charges made to Paulino under front companies like JP Consulting Ltd. and American Festival & Gala Corp.

But Detective Michael McNelis said the call girl ring actually took in at least $2.5million over the last five years, according to court papers.

At Jenny Paulino’s East Side building, neighbors said they suspected the buxom blond was not paying her mortgage with Wall Street bonus checks or a trust fund.

“I thought she was an exotic dancer,” said an interior designer who said she did some work on Paulino’s bathroom.
