Porn Valley- In one of my many frequent phone chats with the late porn historian Jim Holliday, he had talked about Jane Hamilton [aka Veronica Hart] when Hamilton was directing movies for VCA. My chat with Holliday was hours after a talent call at World Modeling.

Holliday said he had been talking to some female performers there who claimed that Hamilton would try and talk them out of doing porn movies.

“This really pisses me off,” said Holiday who apparently lost a couple of prospects due to Hamiltonian lectures. “So much so that I just left a voice mail out at VCA for Don [Don McDonald- when he was still at VCA]. I had heard a couple of things like this in the past and just blew it off. Today I heard it when I was saying to girls, you’ve been around for a year and I’ve never seen you? ‘ Well I went to VCA and met with Jane and Jane said you’re way too pretty to be in this industry. Don’t ruin your life. Get out of here.’ This is the truth. I’m not making this shit up. Jane Hamilton was sabotaging her own company. I wonder if they did know stuff like this and that’s why she was shown the door. That pisses me off. Making her own world judgments. And that’s why, in a strange way, they never had any of the prizes. She and Tony and Whit ran them all off. And the ones that I found on my own- like little Taylor Rain when she finally went over to VCA because I told her to go over there and register, she said the lady told her to go away. She said I can’t use you, you’re too young.”
