Porno Steve Seidman’s adventures with Florida company Icey Porn have been exhaustively detailed in two stories so far on adultfyi.com here and here. Trust us when we say, the more you hear of it, the more the whole thing takes on the tangled web of a Watergate slush fund story. Maybe if we’re lucky, Seidman will go into the whole thing again on the debut of his KSEX show tonight at 5 pm when he and Harry Weiss match wits with Dee.
As far as Icey Porn’s concerned, Seidman claims the company owed him $3700 in expense vouchers and commissions for talent scouting models for them.
But in a statement issued 9/22/03, Icey Porn contends that Seidman “collected all fees owed to him- luxury expenses were never a part of an agreement”. A quick read of that gives you the impression Seidman wasn’t getting any more money. Yet, on 9/29 Seidman received a check for $1600 from Icey Porn.
Seidman’s argument is that, if Icey Porn never owed him money like it said in the first place, what are they doing giving him a check for $1600? Meaning that they’re full of shit, or so he says. Although simple math tells you there’s $2100 outstanding, Seidman’s of the belief he’ll never see the remainder of that money.
What was particularly galling to Seidman was additional comments made by Icey Porn that he allegedly double-billed them. “They have the audacity to call me a thief when everything’s balanced out?” asked Seidman. “They’ve got all the receipts.”
Seidman likened the whole experience to a salesman going on the road.
Seidman: “Part of his expense account his food. I never charged them for food. If I go to Vegas, I use my comps for rooms and food. They never got charged for a thing. They only thing they got charged is when I had to pay cover for a strip club. What the hell. Even though I know people they’re not going to give me a break all the time on cover charges. For instance when I went up to Sacramento I stayed with a friend. They didn’t get billed for room and board there. All I would charge was gas and my admission to strip clubs and wear and tear on the car, oil changes, things like that. Overall, these most recent expenses were from the beginning of August till the 20th of September. The times that I did have to stay in hotels- hotels are far from cheap- but I always look for the best deals. I didn’t stay at Hyatts or Sheratons or Hiltons. I stayed at Ramadas, Howard Johnsons, Travelers Inns. But I’d be damned if I’d stay at a roach-infested motel.
When I sat down and explained all these expenses they were, like, we thought you knew all these guys and they’d let you in [the strip clubs]. Some of them did, some of them didn’t. But the expenses were very reasonable.
