American Killed for Shooting Boy Porn

SOFIA – Bulgarian police on Sunday said they arrested three young men suspected of killing a U.S. national, who shot porn videos and posted them on the Internet.

The three detainees, aged 17, 20 and 22, confessed they killed 44 year-old Daniel Weather and dumped his body in a shaft next to a highway on the northern outskirts of Sofia, Interior Ministry Chief Secretary Boyko Borisov said.

Bulgarian police and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation have been after Weather for six months to find out who ordered the videos and who was paying for the site where they were posted, Borisov said.

He said one of the arrested boys saw his pictures on the Net and demanded weather to remove them.

Borisov said the American shot porn videos with children and youth in Sofia and four other locations in Bulgaria.

He paid to the children 50 leva (EUR25 US$33.5) per photo session. They agreed to be filmed out of poverty or curiosity, he said.
