Porn Valley- Daphne Rosen and Annie Cruz quietly took over the 5 pm Monday night time slot at KSEX, www.ksexradio.com this week. Rosen explained that the show will be about what’s going on in both the real world and the porn world-at-large with, hopefully, large interactive participation from the listening audience. “Give us your input and what your opinions are.” But it was also the feeling that the industry, as a whole lacks, basic connection to how the porn fan thinks or feels. “We want that connection to be on our show,” Rosen and Cruz explained.
Rosen stated that she got into porn a couple of years ago. “I was living with a few strippers and they started getting involved in doing some photo shoots and they were getting screwed, basically,” she said. “People were just treating them like crap, not paying them what they were supposed to be paying them.” Rosen explained that being a feminist, she likes to stand up for people and began accompanying her friends to shoots and tried to work things out with them. “It kind of worked out that the photographers wouldn’t let me leave, until I shot with them,” Rosen continued, mentioning that she’s always been way liberal about sex. “It all moved forward from there.”
For her part, Cruz hails from Northern California up in San Francisco. “I was having a lot of sex in college- a lot of crazy shit. I did my first gangbang in college.” Cruz joked that if any guys in that gangbang were listening, she wanted the tape. Cruz talked about how she contacted a producer in San Francisco, www.agencygirls.com. “He got me started. He came up with my name and everything.” Cruz came to Los Angeles in March of last year. “I’m loving every single minute of it.”
