Porn Valley- I had a chat with Taylor Rain Monday afternoon. I asked her opinions of the recent shoot she did for Defiance/Torrid which was titled In the Pink. Rain mentions Kelly Taylor who was in the cast.
“She changed her name- it used to be Cailley Taylor,” says Rain. “Then we had Brooke show up. It was her birthday. She was going somewhere. She was going to Vegas, so let’s get her out of here. Then we had Nadia Hilton [who replaced Brooke]. We had Sativa Rose, Saana and we had Estelle. That was like her first scene in the U.S. That was the last scene we shot that day. We got her because Madeline Marks didn’t show up.” Because she was on the rag, Rain still has a scene featuring herself that she’s got to complete. For doing her first scene in the U.S., Rain thought that Estelle was terrific.
“She had done like 10 or 15 scenes in Europe,” Rain says. “She came in and did her job- that was it. It was good. I wanted to shoot my scene, and, besides that, if I knew that Kelly Taylor was Cailley Taylor I wouldn’t have booked her because of her attitude. Attitude is everything I think. I shouldn’t have booked Brooke but there was a few ups and downs of that day. But as far as I’m concerned I think the best scene was with Nick Manning, Saana and Sativa. It was funny and cute. Dropping loads! Fucking Nick Manning.”
I heard that Rain’s Oompa Loompa scene in Crazy Christmas was pretty hysterical. “It was so funny because they turned this Christmas music on,” says Rain. “He [Trent Salari] started working like he was an elf. It was so funny, it was ridiculous. Then I’ll be shooting my next movie in a couple of weeks. I want to do this whole black thing with the niggaz on set. I wanted The Westside Connection and Mac 10 here. So we’re going to postpone it until November/December, but it’s a for sure thing. He just came out with a new CD called Testimony. Mac 10 is a great niggah who makes great black people music. Niggaz rock! I’m from OC, what are you going to do?”
Speaking of which, says, Rain, she’s working on another project called The Real OC.
“My friend is building a house on the water that’s in Newport/Huntington Beach, right on the border,” she explains. “I haven’t figured out the title but it’s going to be an OC-movie, very young guys. We’re going to stay there for four days, five days. We’re going to use this house- it’s going to cost us some cheese. They say it’s going to be finished in two weeks. Hopefully everything will be good. And I was thinking of setting up Ski Bitch 2- but it’s a lot of people. You need 20 guys and ten girls. It’s hard to do and it has to be a decent location for everyone to get to.”
Asked if she ever got her laptop back, Rain said she talked to the “Beaners” and is convinced now that her suspects had nothing to do with the theft. “There’s no way in hell they took it,” she concludes. “The cops told me to trust no one and everyone’s a suspect. But I saw the way they reacted. You could tell. He didn’t know what a Mac was.”
