LOS ANGELES — Angel Bermudez, a valued and integral member of the sales team at Evolved Novelties, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, at his home in Miami. He was 52.

Bermudez spent five years at Evolved Novelties, where he traveled extensively on the Latin American sales beat, building relationships and expanding the company’s reach into new territories.

Evolved Novelties paid tribute to Bermudez in an email to staff, noting that he was especially instrumental in securing new territories in Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Mexico City, and Chile, and hailing him for leaving “an enduring legacy for which we are most grateful.”

“His passion for his work shone through as he approached new challenges with enthusiasm and heart,” the tribute read.

Evolved Novelties continued to celebrate the life and career of Bermudez, whose co-workers considered him a friend.

“Angel always had a smile on his face and prided himself on his ability to connect with clients — a quality that, combined with his professionalism, created lasting relationships in the industry,” said a rep for the company. “His legacy of kindness and commitment will live on, but he will be truly missed by all of us here at Evolved Novelties.”
