Another HIV Case In Porn; Time For A Reality Check

“I told the viewers last night that there would be another HIV outbreak and you all know it’s gonna happen. Just like all the cases before Cameron Bay when we all said, We’re gonna have another one. Rather it takes a year or a month, we’re gonna have another one. We always do. Just like taxes and death it is inevitable.”

Rob Black said this on the Rob Black Show today. He said it BEFORE it was revealed that another performer tested positive for HIV and it is a male from the straight side of the business. There is another production moratorium. The fourth one in a year.

Wow.

I hope that no one who was exposed will come up positive. I fear that will not be the case because the last two straight male performers who tested positive, Darren James and Marc Wallice, infected Tricia Devereaux, Brooke Ashley, Caroline, Kimberly Jade, Jordan McKnight, Lara Roxx, Merissa Arroyo and Jessica Dee. These are just the confirmed cases.

They were all transmitted on set.

None of them wore a condom. All of them were tested. All of them have to live the rest of their lives with a incurable fatal disease.

Is the condoms in porn debate finally over?

Anyone who performs in this business and does not wear a condom is risking their health and their lives and no test is going to protect you. Testing twice a month or once a month does not matter. Every time an unsheathed penis is inserted into a vagina or any other orifice there is a risk for HIV and being in porn now increases your chance of acquiring it.

Porn without condoms is not safe. It never will be. If we continue performing without them more people will get HIV.

I know I’m stating the obvious, but sometimes you need to see the words in front of you before it sinks in.

Stay safe, people.
