Porn Valley- With the opportunity ripe, are girls from XXX running into the waiting arms of an R-rated career? They are but not with some reservations from the R-rated sorority. With HIV stories running rampant all over the place, Lombard says things are getting crazy even on the R-side. He was telling a story about how he was casting a softcore movie and talked to a girl who didn’t want to work with a certain actor from XXX, believing that he was on the quarantine list – which he was not..

“I can see how these rumors are all over the place,” says Lombard who’s been getting some concerns from established R-rated performers about letting newbies into the fold.

Normally, Lombard works from a loop of what he calls “the normal suspects” to furnish actresses for R-rated films.

“They’re an A-list of girls who are already in my loop and have worked these R-rated movies over the years,” Lombard explains. “We’re talking six years for some of them like Chloe. Well, I started getting calls from girls who had major concerns about what I was going to allow in the office. I assured them that my priority was still them and that I was going to do my due diligence and ask certain key questions knowing I was going to step on some peoples’ toes, that they’re welfare was my top priority. I wasn’t going to screw up what I had built over the last six years.”

Lombard says Chloe was his first XXX girl to do the crossover into R. “And Gina Ryder was the second in thesoftcore-stuff. It was like a brush fire- next thing you know I had 30 in here.”

Based on this latest hiring spike, Lombard sincerely believes that he’s tapped into the best that are available out there outside of a couple of obvious porn girls who probably wouldn’t bother to audition [he mentions someone like Asia Carrera] although the door is open to them. Stephanie Swift is another name that comes up in the conversation. Lombard said he’s been told repeatedly that she’d like to work in R but has never called him. “But I don’t mean that in a bad way. She has my number.”

Lombard said he was also commended by Jessica Drake for throwing the offer of work out there, and the phones were ringing off the hook the first day.

“But in all honesty, some of these people who were calling had no business even being out of school,” Lombard laughs. “Between broken English and making no sense of what they were saying, these were clearly individuals that were extremely young. I did return everyone’s calls and I did set up some meetings. But I had a couple of occasions where I started asking questions, like, are you primarily a gonzo girl? Or a feature girl? That’s the only way I can make the distinction.”

Lombard would explain to the callers what he meant by the two.

“The feature girls are primarily condom-only and work for the bigger companies, whereas the gonzo girls are non-condom.” Lombard said when he popped the question to several girls, he was told it was none of his business.

“I would have to tell them that it is my business because I’m fortunate enough to work with the Ava Vincents and the Nicole Sheridans of the world.” By the same token, Lombard also reports that he now has the services of Wicked Pictures’ Kaylani Lei for a movie.

But one girl, taking obvious exception to Lombard’s distinctions between feature and gonzo, went so far to tell Lombard to go fuck himself. “She told me fuck you, where she basically didn’t understand what I was asking her,” says Lombard.

“I had to explain to her and go into detail whether she was a gonzo girl or a feature girl,” Lombard continues. “Are you working non-condom? ‘Yeah, so what.’ I told her that’s gonzo. Are you doing d.p.s? ‘What’s a d.p.?’she asks. I tell her. She says, ‘yeah, I’ve done a couple of those.’ Then I had to explain terms like anal creampies which makes my skin crawl. She just got angrier and angrier. She was extremely annoyed and upset. But at the same time the calls kept coming in. The word must have gotten out and I got calls from girls saying you know so-and-so is a ‘gonzo girl.’ I go yes, I know. Do not worry. It’s not going to happen.

It was noted that Tina Tyler on KSEX the other night talked about some of R-rated ventures she was seeking out in order to provide extra cash flow. Lombard says he’s known Tyler about four years. “Boy, she gave me her opinion[about gonzo girls] real quick! But she also thanked me for being very conscientious and very considerate.”
