Las Vegas- There are two major trade shows going on right now in Sin City this week with Arrow Productions, www.xxxdeepthroat.com getting active exposure in both.
And the business is certainly keeping Arrow’s director of marketing, Robert Interlandi, hopping- enough to require massive ingestion of energy drinks.
The first show which is going on at the Hilton, is the MAGIC show which involves the Apparel and Garment industries. The other show being held at the Mandalay Bay, is Store Erotica and that’s bringing together both the adult store buyers and the gentlemen’s clubs together for the first time.
“We’re selling the Deep Throat energy drink at Store Erotica,” explains Interlandi, observing the fact that gentlemen’s clubs are broadening their business approach.
“Ray Pistol [owner of Arrow]owns a strip club that is also part adult store and he also owns a lingerie store. So in today’s adult market that kind of diversification makes sense.”
What makes Interlandi particularly happy is the reception the Deep Throat energy drink has been receiving this week.
“All the strip clubs want it,” he says. “They all think this is going to be the next big thing. They find the name amusing, then try the drink. They love it, and I’ve been writing orders like crazy. It’s been great.”
“Ron Jeremy tried it. He says he loves Deep Throat. He loves the packaging, and he likes the taste.”
Interlandi’s booth is conveniently located next to a bar, he laughs.
“And I’m placed right by Scores, Pink Vodka and Quality California Wines.”
To be specific, the Arrow booth is located in the gentlemen’s club area of the show.
“This is our new product, and we’re really excited about it,” he continues. “We think this is our next big thing. To be something like this that is mainstream, can be a very profitable and get us back into pop culture.”
Included on the Deep Throat energy drink’s website, www.deepthroatenergy.com, are a number of exotic drink recipes for making such taste tempters as Deep Throat N Blue Balls, a Russian Deep Throat, a Nutty Deep Throat, Deep Throat Bombers and other concoctions to tingle the palate.
Meanwhile, Arrow’s licensed apparel can be found at the Bang On booth located at the MAGIC Show. While the Silver Buffalo booth is handling bar ware, beer mugs and other related items.
“We licensed such T-shirts as the ‘I Choked Linda Lovelace’ shirt,” Interlandi continues. “They said our stuff’s been selling really well and we’re going to do some more teaming up to help promote the Bang On adult design in the adult stores.”
According to Interlandi, the MAGIC show is huge.
“It’s like a small city,” he notes.
