Porn Valley- During the airing of his AEE extravaganza this past Friday, the Sports Swami had the following chat with Ashley Long. Long was signing with PXP during the convention. Long said the company had already approached her following last year’s show to re-up at their booth for this last show. Long also made note of the fact that she was going to get a boob job this month.
Asked about the differences between England’s adult film industry and America’s, Long. “Over here it’s more of a business and just like normal work,” Long said. “In England it’s not as opened and more shady. That’s why I come over to America. I like to work with American companies. Everybody’s so friendly and it’s like a big family.” Long said she originally wanted to get into the glamor/modeling field. “My agent asked me if I wanted to do the videos.” Long said she’d try it once and if she didn’t like it, wouldn’t continue. Long, who’s now repped with Mark Spiegler, said she went with him because he’s a great agent. “He’s the best agent. He’s like my dad. He looks after me. If there’s any problems I just go to him.”
Long, who speaks in a very thick British accent, said when she first came over to the states it was very hard for her to overcome certain language barriers. “I had to think about what I was saying before I could say it. Because nobody could understand what I was saying. Even though we speak the same, it’s harder with the slang.” Long, who resides in England, said even now, she’s still not used to the differences. “I’ve been coming here for two years, now. I do my movies then I go back.”
Long said her mother knows what she does. “It’s not something she likes me to do but she sees that I look after myself, I save all my money. She can see that it’s good in one way, so she lets me get on with what I do.”
In his never ending persistence of the offbeat romance rumor, Swami, in his speed-talk fashion said he heard that Long had romantic ties to British boxing champ Audley Harrison. Long went blank on that one. Swami then whipped out David Beckham/Lennox Lewis rumors. Long said she frankly didn’t have a clue what the Swami was saying to her. “Supposedly Lennox Lewis is smitten with you,” Swami told Long in a re-translation. Long seemed surprised. “That’s a shock to me!”
Long, who doesn’t have a website yet, said every year her plans change so she wasn’t even inclined to talk about the future. “Hopefully I’ll have my own business.” Long said she’d like to have a ranch with horses. Swami wanted to know if the adult industry hurts women and makes them look cheap and disgusting. Long said, in a way, the business makes women look cheap and nasty. “because of what we do,” she explained. “But it’s different from people think.” Long said the older generation might be more inclined to think that way. “But everyone has sex- I don’t know why it’s looked upon with such disgust.”
