LAS VEGAS – AVN reports that Jewel De’Nyle and her mother De’Bella have patched things up after a long feud.
De’Nyle is in ntown promoting her new company Platinum Jewel at the Wicked Pictures booth. And, according to De’Nyle, a big step in their reconciliation was the fact that De’Bella left Red Light District.
De’Nyle felt that her mother was being promoted in a way that was counterproductive to everything De’Nyle had worked for which was fostering a positive image of women in the industry.
For her part, De’Bella is saying that she was going on 50 when she did her first scene and thought she had to do certain things which, on hindsight, she’s not proud of, to promote her career.
“Since then, I’ve cleaned up my act,” De’Bella states. “I feel liberated; for once in my life, I feel great.”
De’Bella’s also started an agency called Generation XXX Productions which includes De’Nyle among the female talent although she’s not repping Jewel for sex work.
“I don’t promote any sex scenes or anything like that [for De’Nyle]; just radio and TV appearances and any mainstream appearances,” De’Bella said.
According to De’Bella’s website, Generation XXX Productions was developed through conversation between Adult Performer De’Bella and Security Specialist Michael Boone.
“As a result of those conversations Generation XXX Productions applied for and was granted a Talent Agency License (TA 48985) through the State of California Department of Labor Standards and Enforcement.”
