Only because I couldn’t be for sure, but Wooten’s name is jumping off the page at me. I called Skeeter Kerkove, and he’s pretty positive that he wrote a check to Wooten sometime in 2004 or 2005.

Other than that, Skeeter couldn’t be of more help but said once he got home he’d go through his old 1099’s. Andrew Scotrt Brus, who is accused of starting the fires in a jealous rage over their breakup, had been Wooten’s boyfriend of nine years, and that name also seems very familiar.
