The adult lifestyle expo SXhibition is set to open its second edition in Melbourne this weekend, running from September 18 to 20 at the Melbourne Convention Center. The event, which follows its inaugural expo in Brisbane in 2025, will feature Australian adult industry members, companies, vendors, and international stars.

Johnny Colt and Dixie Wrecked will emcee the main stage. A dedicated retail area will host over 80 adult product exhibitors.

Specific themed areas are planned for the show floor. The "Tantra Temple" space will offer a quieter environment focused on self-pleasure and self-expression, with an opening activation designed to create a safe and incredible space. For those interested in BDSM and fetish culture, a "K1nky Dungeon" area will feature activations, demonstrations, and specialty vendors.

Educational content will be presented on the SX ED stage, sponsored by Stigma Health, an online sexual health clinic resource for STI testing. This stage will host expert seminars and panel discussions covering topics such as intimacy, relationship issues, and sexual health.

Belinda Gavin's experience in the adult industry dates back to the 1990s, where she worked in modeling and production in Los Angeles, attending events like the F.O.X.E. Awards and working in production at Wicked Pictures with director Michael Raven. After returning to Australia, she worked with Travers Beynon, known as "the Candyman," and later with the Australian adult industry trade show Sexpo, which concluded its run in 2019.

SXhibition aims to attract a broad demographic, with most attendees typically between 35 and 55 years old, or younger. Gavin highlighted that Australians are interested in fitness and wellness, and the show incorporates these aspects while promoting open-mindedness.
