AVN Media Network has opened the pre-nomination period for the 2027 AVN Awards, inviting adult industry professionals to submit their work for consideration. The annual awards ceremony, presented by MyFreeCams, is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2027, in Las Vegas.

Industry producers, directors, talent, and other active personnel can submit pre-nominations for productions, products, and other work released since August 2025. Submissions are made through the newly-redesigned AVN Awards Pre-Nomination Site, located at submissions.avn.com. The pre-nomination site will close at 11:59 p.m. PT on September 15. This deadline does not affect the traditional September 30 deadline for commercially releasing submitted material. Work slated for release between September 15 and September 30 may still be submitted prior to release via the Pre-Nom Site, with the physical work or product delivered to AVN by the traditional release deadline.

Those with previously approved logins for the Pre-Nom Site can use their existing credentials. New applicants must apply for access. Pre-nominations are also open for the 2027 GayVN Awards, with access requests handled through the same application form. Approved users of the Pre-Nom Site are limited to a maximum of five pre-nominations per category. AVN advises participants to carefully select their submissions, focusing on the "best of the best."
