Star People’s sunsoaked spy says that in late August, the sizzling singers tried out a $7.5 million, three-bedroom penthouse pad at the exclusive Il Villaggio. They are said to have spent the weekend there — perhaps having a little too much fun.

Our source says that some of the other residents, worried by the loud partying, scantily dressed houseguests and what they claim was a topless dip in the pool by Beyonce, asked the real estate agents to kill the deal for fear of what might result if the starry couple moved in for good. Jay-Z’s rep had no comment. Beyonce’s manager sent us to a publicist, who didn’t return calls. The real-estate agent would only say it’s close to being sold.
