XXX writes: Doesn’t it strike someone that AVN’s the first to cry foul when one of their people is taped on a squawk box- and I’m talking about Luke Ford being accused of a felony for taping one of their reporters during a conversation. And then AVN turns around and feloniously reports unsubstatiated information about a porn star? And most recently this weekend. AVN reports that it talked to a “a man claiming to be a Brazilian adult director” who says that Bianca Biaggi is HIV-positive and that she is believed to have infected Darren James.

If AVN’s phrase “a man claiming to be a Brazilian adult director” isn’t enough to cast immediate suspicion on the authenticity of their own story, I don’t know what is. The “Brazilian director” is then identified as Paulo Sergio [a phony name if I ever heard one] who says he shot Biaggi for a Red Light movie and saw Biaggi’s positive test results. I presume this is AFTER Sergio shot the movie because this guy would have criminal charges to face and Red Light would have a lot of explaining to do if that was the case.

The facts are that reporter Scott Ross never even talked to this guy but is working off an email and Ross’s story says as much: “I bet all that I got in my life that if somebody searchs [sic] some of these trannies she worked with…one of them will be infected,” Sergio wrote. Ross goes on to write, “Sergio blamed transsexual performers as well as unscrupulous foreign-directors and producers for Biaggi’s HIV.”

Well, I guess an e-mail serves as enough credible ammo as far as AVN’s concerned to accuse a girl. And doesn’t all of this make that cluck Sergio one of those unscrupulous foreign directors he talks about?

Nowhere in this story do I see AVN talking to Sharon Mitchell or AIM for comment or verification. Nowhere do I see AVN talking to Red Light for comment. But AVN damns another performer because some director asshole claims to have known for a fact that Biaggi was positive. And where is the proof of this so-called positive test presented in the story?

If attorney Paul Cambria’s going to cry felony, he might as well start with AVN who has no business releasing sensitive information like this without one ounce of verification except heresay. Didn’t AVN learn from the Destiny episode a couple of weeks ago where they gave the impression that she was positive then had to retract? And didn’t AVN also report sensitive information about Chasey Lane earlier this year that was also unsubstantiated?
