He had somehow caught her in this lie and found out all of the details about her first experience with the one who had truly taken her consensual virginity. He duplicated these circumstances: she’d been in the back of a truck, under a specific bridge, etcetera… he raped her in the back of a truck, under that same bridge, demeaning and degrading her the entire time. * He strangled Michelle with a telephone cord and beat her with the telephone. (TTM)

* Barbara and he had been very poor, surviving on Ramen and tuna, and his birthday was coming up. He had told her specifically not to get anything for his birthday since they had no money as it is. Being a hopeless romantic, and wanting to please him, she bought him a wooden duck. When she gave it to him, thinking that she’d done something sweet, he beat her with it over and over again, because he’d told her not to buy anything for his birthday and she’d disobeyed him. (TTM)

* Piggy, one of the cats — or possibly Michelle — had done something wrong — I don’t remember the specific crime — but this cat was Michelle’s cat… and Dennis stuck a gun in its mouth, and was going to blow its brains out. He knocked some teeth out jamming the gun in its small mouth. He didn’t shoot the cat. (TTM)

* He would hold Shawna down and let Michelle beat her instead of beating her himself. (TTM)

* In Los Angeles, he was holding Michelle down on the bed (apparently she’d been getting smart with him) and he was punching her over and over again in the back. She started screaming and that alarmed the kids, so he covered her mouth to the point that she couldn’t breathe. I saw this firsthand, and I asked her what was going on. He said that she hit him first (or attempted to, I don’t recall). She said that was untrue. I never observed marks on him, but at that moment, my first thought was the kids who were just coming around the corner to investigate, looking quite distressed. I took them away from the incident immediately, as that was my main concern, and distracted them. I don’t know what else happened when I left, though he left horrendous bruises on her back. (SIM
