Porn Valley- I spoke to Eva Angelina [pictured right] on the set of Defiance Film’s Pleasure 2 Wednesday morning. We caught up on some gossip since the last time I saw her on an Astrux shoot. www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=9080. Eva is repped by www.exoticstarmodels.com.
I remember at the time, Eva was having a conversation about anal and I was wondering if she had finally gotten around to doing it on camera. “I enjoy it in my personal life,” she says. “But it’s still not quite time. I’m doing enough work where it’s strictly boy-girl stuff. It’s working well so until they stop calling for that then I’m still going to wait.” Angelina has also changed her look.
“I like to reinvent myself,” she explains. “Personally, I really get bored with my appearance and to be comfortable I need to change things up. It’s kind of exciting to see different pieces of me at different times of my life. Even just in porno- I’ve changed so much.”
I liken the whole experience to Picasso changing his periods. Angelina describes her current look as the younger, pretty girl look. “All American, girl next door, younger look rather than the edgier, long hair, red streaks. And some people thought it was kind of intimidating. I thought it was quite humorous when they said that. I’ve got bangs now so it kind of reminds me when I was in middle school. Pretty much in my school years I had bangs and finally towards the end of high school I got rid of them. But I’m feeling young and alive right now.”
Angelina’s been working a lot she says as well as traveling.
“I went to Spain- I was shooting for a British company. I spent ten days on an island off the coast of Spain.” Angelina had lived in Spain two years but had never been there.
“It was an awesome cast and very international,” she says. “I was the only American and we had some British actors. We had one Czech girl and we had some Hungarian people. There was a girl from Thailand. It was very diverse. I thought it was really awesome. And we only shot four of the ten days. It’s a volcanic island where everything’s black. It’s kind of cool. It’s strange. When you go down to the coast it’s hot. But when you go up to the mountains inland, the wind picks up and it gets colder. It’s a huge change in climate. We had a small hotel but we pretty much took over the whole hotel. We did a scene in the court yard. We did a scene in the pool area. And we were nude all the time.”
Angelina lived in Spain two years as well as in Switzerland for two years. “I was really young when I lived in Spain and when I got to go back I got to see all the surrounding countries- Italy, France, Germany.”
The fact that her father builds planes took Angelina to Switzerland. “His company had him transferred to make airplanes for the Swiss and Spanish military.” Asked if she learned to yodel, Angelina says no but she picked up German very well. “Then when I came back to the states, middle school/high school taught German so I pretty much lost it because I didn’t have anybody to converse with.”
Angelina says she really tried hard in school. “I graduated a semester and a half early.” But she was far from an over achiever she says. “I never really got any awards- I just tried to do well.”
Angelina also finished a project for MTV Wednesday night. “It was a new reality TV series that they came up with,” she says. “Three of the old Real World girls have created their own clothing line and company and needed to find a partner. So they went out on this search and got 60 girls to come to this one location. We started competing- I was the only porn girl and everyone else was a civilian. I thought that was kind of cool because all of the competitions were deep throat this banana or fake an orgasm. Or flash the camera. Or make out with a chick- I’m like this is easy. When they needed an ice breaker for the new task, they would always have me demonstrate it. This was very edgy. The title is something like The Mean Girls of Reality Television: The College Droput- which applies to me because I’ve dropped out of college three times.”
I assume Angelina holds the porn industry record for this. “But I’m trying again this semester,” she says. “I want to get into real estate. I eventually want to become a real estate investor and play it into porn. I want to buy property and shoot out of it until it’s shot out then fix it up and sell it, then buy another property and shoot it. We all need locations.”
Asked about a website, Angelina says she’s been having trouble finding a reliable and loyal webmaster. “And someone I could trust. Right now I’ve tried twice and it hasn’t worked out the way I’ve wanted. I’m not going to pursue something that’s kind of fishy. I’m currently looking.”
