GORDON Ramsay’s American TV show has been put on ice while he faces claims he had a seven-year affair.
The celebrity chef was due to fly to Los Angeles in January to film the US version of Kitchen Nightmares.
But it has been postponed until late spring amid reports he cheated on wife Tana with blonde writer Sarah Symonds. A source said: “We’re told that this has nothing to do with Gordon and Tana, but we can’t imagine Tana would be happy to see Gordon jetting off only weeks after the allegations emerged.
“They are planning a holiday together and a family Christmas, showing their marriage is still on track.”
Last night Channel 4 insisted the US show had been shelved only because it clashed with their filming schedule here.
Earlier Gordon, 42, and 34-year-old Tana put on a show of unity as they left their £4million house in Wandsworth, South West London, with their four children for the school run.
The former Glasgow Rangers footballer continued to stay silent over a Sunday newspaper’s claims that it caught him romping with Symonds, 38, in a hotel next to his Maze restaurant in London’s Mayfair.
He just told newsmen: “I’m very well, thank you. Things are fine.”
Later he sent out teas and coffees. Then at 10.20am he pushed his way past snappers before being driven to TV studios. Two minutes later Tana drove off, refusing to talk.
Welsh-born Symonds once had a fling with shamed Tory Lord Archer and wrote Having An Affair? A Handbook For The Other Woman.
